I'm pretty happy about some people who got the award, especially someone my age :), you know who you are !! But obviously I have my own idea about who should be given this award !
If I had to choose who would get the award for 'having contributed to the benefit of the country; it would go to these people: Rachel of Tista Tkun int for having vanished from our national tv. Keep it up Rachel !! Stay away from producing more programmes of the tear jerking, emotional robbery type. The next award would go to a woman I have admired since I could read my dad's newspaper. While most people have mixed opinions and sometimes strong reactions, one must admit she's got bull's balls. To you Daphne, I would give the award, though you'd probably tell me to exactly where to put it. But then again, that's why you deserve it. The other award would go to Caqnu, definitely THE MAN. I don't think I have to add more...
On a more serious note I would give the award to Nicholas Sammut who at age 27 ( 1981 rules !)is a research engineer at CERN. What bigger honour for us Maltese? We love you nerds ! You make us proud.

The award ' Midalja għall-Qlubija' for an act of exceptional behaviour was not awarded this year. Why...? This award would go to my mum and all mums in Malta. Midalja għall-Qadi tar-Repubblika is a tricky one. Any suggestions?
Happy Holiday!
